Inspiration

In 2005, our oldest daughter, Lauren,  was killed in a car accident. When I started crocheting, I wanted to create something that I could donate to other grieving moms who find themselves in the same situation...something that would memorialize their loss while providing comfort and a reminder that they will always be woven together. 

Woven Together blankets are designed to commemorate relationships in a unique and meaningful way. The plaid design pattern Is created by using the numbers in the mom and child’s birthdates. Therefore, each blanket is a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
